Our School

As the Head teacher of Manby Lodge Infant School it is both a pleasure and privilege to welcome you to our school website.

All members of Manby Lodge are committed to providing a high quality education where a love of learning is promoted within a safe and happy environment in which every person matters.

We believe that working in partnership with parents, carers, Governors and the local community is critical to ensuring our success. A family atmosphere is fostered within which everyone is proud to belong.

Children are at the centre of our learning community where teaching life values develops good citizens in a welcoming and stimulating environment. We look to develop the whole child and pride ourselves on the fact that we see each child as unique, with their own strengths and personality.

At the heart of our philosophy is Values Led Education.  The values are integrated into the children’s lives through the curriculum, school organisation and community links.

We have a two year programme of values and focus on a value each month - values such as honesty, respect and friendship enable children to develop good social skills; this in turn promotes good self esteem. As a school we work in partnership with other local infant, junior and senior schools and this provides continuity on Values Led Education within the local community.

Our dedicated team provide quality care to ensure children are happy, confident and active learners. We provide a curriculum that fulfils statutory requirements and is broad and balanced in its provision. Our high quality curriculum stimulates the academic, practical and creative potential of all of our learners, meeting their individual needs. We believe that all children have the right to succeed and that all children have the right to an excellent education.

We warmly welcome visitors to our school and look forward to working in partnership with you.
