Whenever possible we hope to resolve any issue or concern directly with parents. We have an open door policy and welcome any input from parents regarding their child’s achievement, behaviour and any concerns.
Where parents or carers have a concern about any aspect of the school or their child’s education or wellbeing, it should be raised with the class teacher in person at drop off, or at pick up, or via telephone or email (by contacting the teacher through the school office). The teacher may be able to address concerns straight away, or arrange a meeting to discuss the issue. Where necessary, the next person to speak to regarding your child, is the Year Group Leader, or Mrs Saffer, the Deputy Head Teacher.
The complaints procedure can be used when issues have not be dealt with through the informal channels of communication, above.
