On Tuesday, Year 2 had a fantastic trip to Nower Wood. We spent the whole day in the woods, discovering pond and woodland creatures in their natural habitats. The weather didn’t stop Year 2 from having fun and exploring the outdoors. We even found a toad and a great diving beetle! Please see the website “Gallery” for more photographs.

As part of our RE lessons in Year 2 we have been learning all about the Easter story and the symbols of Easter. To demonstrate our understanding of the Easter story we created our very own Easter gardens. Please see the Website “Gallery” for more pictures.

Some children enjoyed using the safe search engine ‘Kiddle’ to safely search for pictures of animals whilst others created posters warning others to use the internet safely. Please see the Website “Gallery” for more pictures.

The Reception classes welcomed parents to a Shared Learning session yesterday about Internet Safety. They shared the story Chicken Clicking by Jeanne Willis and talked about the school internet safety mascot SMARTY.
