Year 1 enjoyed learning how to keep fit and healthy today. They took part in different exercises including press ups, squats and lunges. Paul also spoke to the children about making healthy choices by looking carefully at the colours displayed on food packets. The children are now keen to look for green and amber next time they choose their cereal! Well done Year 1, you did a great job.
Year 1 enjoyed their trip to Sunrise Living this morning. They performed the story of The Three Bears that they’ve been learning in their Book Talk sessions recently. They also sang some nursery rhymes to the residents and shared some cards and flowers that they’d kindly made. The residents particularly enjoyed the song ‘Twinkle Twinkle Chocolate Bar’.
Thank you to all of the parent helpers that came along to help.
