Thank you to all the parents who attended our Reception Shared Learning event. The children were very excited to demonstrate their phonics skills and explore the classroom with their parents. Please see the website “Gallery” for more pictures.
From following the children’s interest in the new Frozen film we have had lots of Frozen fun this week! The children have enjoyed making their own Elsa castles, playing with Arctic animals and creating an Arctic world.
On Friday 22nd November Year 2 had an exciting Victorian Day! It was a fantastic day where we all dressed up and got into role as real life Victorians. We recited poems, made Victorian peg dolls and even had a visit from Chertsey Museum. Please see the website “Gallery” for more pictures.
The children have been very busy carrying out many different activities linked to Anti-Bullying this week. These have included writing friendship recipes, designing and decorating our own odd socks bunting, creating friendship and anti-bullying superheroes and exploring creative ways to highlight who we can talk to if bullying occurs. On Tuesday we also took part in ‘Odd Socks Day’ and saw both children and staff accessorising their outfits with some very colourful and fun sock combinations! We ended the week sharing our learning in our weekly sharing assembly with Miss Morris. Please see the website “Gallery” for more pictures
