Lots of fun dressing up and telling stories in reception today!

Year 2 have been to visit the Roald Dahl Story Museum in Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire. Year 2 had a great time learning all about Roald Dahl’s life and the wonderful characters he created. Year 2 even created their own story character! We also got to see Roald Dahl’s famous writing shed!

This morning, during break time, Year 2 discovered a mysterious hole in the playground surrounded by what children believe to be a fox tail and a list for the ‘Great Feast’. It was very exciting!

Reception Classes had a great time at Multisports today and listened to instructions very well.

Today Year 1 completed our History learning on The Great Fire of London by burning our own houses that we had made. We had great fun throwing buckets of water to put the fire out and seeing how quickly the fire spread.

Today Year 1 walked beautifully to the Sunrise Living Care Home and sang carols to the residents there. We all had a lovely time and the residents received some cards from us as well as a heartily sung ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’. They kindly gave us each a drink and clapped after every song. All who were there had a lovely time.

On Thursday and Friday, Year 1 performed ‘The Midwives’ Crisis’ to their families and friends. We had a fantastic time sharing our Nativity and we sang beautifully, spoke clearly and acted well.
Thank you all for supporting us.

Year 2 did two incredible performances of ‘Lights, Camel, Action’! All the children shone brightly and performed so confidently. Well done Year 2!
