Hedgehog class had a very sunny and successful Sports Day! All the children took part in all of the sporting activities and we even won the trophy!
Hedgehog class had a fantastic trip to Painshill Park! All the children enjoyed the I-Spy landmark trail and the exciting Plant Workshop. We were even able to eat lunch outside in the sunshine! Please see the website “Gallery” for more pictures.
Year 1 have had a fabulous week learning all about Brazil! The children have learnt all about Rainforest animals, Brazilian food, Amazon tribes, famous Brazilian artists and even learnt some Portugese! It has been a wonderful International Week that at has been enjoyed by all the Y1 children and staff!
On Tuesday 27th April Year 1 enjoyed World Book Day Part 2! The children in Year 1 enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book character, making book marks, reading stories and learning all about Quentin Blake. Please see the website “Gallery” for more photographs.
We had lots of fun learning all about St George’s Day and celebrated with a street party in our outside area!
A week of lots of fun learning in Reception: The children have had lots of fun exploring and playing this week, some of the highlights were: building 3D towers, making a loose parts rainbow, playing team games and going on a story trail for ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’! We have been having lots of Christmas fun in Reception this week! Each class enjoyed decorating their own Christmas tree and making snowflakes. Outside we created a grotto and the children have been posting letters to Father Christmas.
