We launched a special competition for all Manby Lodge children to design a brand new Anti-Bullying Mascot! This character will represent kindness, friendship, and standing up for what’s right across our school. The winning design was revealed in a special assembly this week, and the winner Nico Scott received a prize and will have his mascot featured on school displays.
Our school was invited to bring a small group of children to take part in a community litter pick in Weybridge. The School Council children were taken by Mrs Maxmilan. All the children really enjoyed their time out of school by helping the local community (more photos are on the school gallery).
The children thoroughly enjoyed the Science Workshop that came this week. They really enjoyed all the different experiements.
The Masked Reader – Competition.
Manby staff have hidden their identities while reading sections from a well known book or poem, the children will need to guess which member of staff is reading each story or poem. Click on the red link above to listen to the staff members, it will pop up as a Power Point download, you will then need to play this as a slideshow.
