During Forest School, Year 1 has been learning how to light a fire using a steel stick. They enjoyed toasting and eating starburst sweets!


Children thoroughly enjoyed their hot chocolate and biscuits after a story yesterday for Bedtime Stories, read to by teachers in their pyjamas!



It was wonderful to hear our Year 2 pianist playing the piano as all of the children came into assembly on Friday. Being awarded with a Distinction for his exam was the icing on the cake!
We just wanted to thank you all for your hard work and support last term. We’re pleased to announce we’ve raised around £7,000 since September 2019 which is incredible. The bigger fundraisers included:-

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported this year’s Christmas Fair. Our amazing parent community really pulled out all the stops to make the day a huge success. The atmosphere was truly magical, and I think everyone had a fantastic afternoon.
We’re thrilled to announced that the fair, plus the raffle and flash sale, raised over £5000 for the school. Incredible!


What an amazing turnout we have for the pumpkin parade. All your donations plus the gift aid we can claim raises an amazing £180.75 for the school. Well done to the winners and thank you to everyone who got involved.
Well done Year 2 – your cake bake raised a fantastic £165.81. Thank you to everyone who made cakes, bought cakes, helped to sell, and helped to eat. All the support is very much appreciated!

On Friday 7th February we celebrated Number Day. We came to school wearing numbers and we raised £200.01 for the NSPCC! We had lots of number fun including; making Numicon biscuits, building 3D shapes, making arrays outside and going on a number hunt. Please see the website gallery for more pictures.




The children in Cygnet Class voted for an ‘ice cream parlour’ as their new role play area. They thought of all the things that it would need, including different flavours of ice cream, cones, chocolate sauce and menus, and helped find or make them all. Now it has been set up the children have enjoyed making and selling ice cream to their friends.



In Reception we have started our talk 4 writing sessions by learning the story of ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’. We were shocked to discover that the big, bad troll has been in our outside area and the children quickly began searching for clues and creating wanted posters!

Year 1 are enjoying learning about The Great Fire of London and have produced some stunning artwork!
