Year 1 children loved showing off their moves while we carried out our Sponsored Zumba. The children didn’t stop moving for half an hour!

Hedgehog Class enjoyed their trip to the Synagogue this week. The children particularly enjoyed using the Yad to follow the script in the Torah from right to left, they noticed that this was different to the way that we read at school. We look forward to making and tasting our own challah bread next week in school.

Year 1 loved their day off timetable this week to create Great Fire of London artwork. They had a go at marbelling, drawing, painting and junk modelling. Some children also used followed a paper template to make a 3D house. Please see the website “Gallery” page for more pictures.

We had a very exciting guest in our assembly this morning – Strider! Our school is now part of a challenge to encourage children and families to walk to school. The children will log how they get to school on a daily basis and each month they have the opportunity to win badges.

The children of Manby Lodge enjoyed The Snow Queen Christmas Panto. They particularly enjoyed singing the song that ended “…but most of all, we all love Manby Lodge!”

Pupils and staff enjoyed their Christmas lunch. Please see the website “Gallery” for more pictures.
