Thank you to all the lovely adults who volunteered on our trip on the 8th June. Year 2 had a great time pond dipping and searching for mini-beasts.
The children have really enjoyed learning about Judaism this term and they had a great experience visiting the synagogue!
They had the opportunity to learn all about Jewish traditions and celebrations.
A small group of Year 1 and Year 2 children had the opportunity to take part in a Lego Coding Workshop at St George’s Junior School. They had lots of fun creating and coding a functioning cooling fan and a race car!
Tiger Class and Lion Class enjoyed thinking about ways to help The Twits to be safer on the Internet, with their parents at our Spring Year 2 Shared Learning.
We celebrated World Book Day at Manby Lodge with two costume changes in one day! Firstly, for World Book Day dressing up, and then a return to school in the evening for Bedtime Stories and a hot chocolate!
Year Reception have been learning about people who help us and were very excited to have a visit from a Fire Engine.
Children love seeing their hearts displayed in the corridor by the entrance to the playground. Manby Love is a fundraising initiative organised by FOML. Thank you in particular to Janine Tower for creating this beautiful display.
This year all of the money raised for Manby Love is being donated to the Red Cross Turkey / Syria earthquake appeal.
Leopard Class enjoyed learning all about Florence Nightingale during the Flo on the Road Workshop.

We role-played the different classes on board the Titanic and as part of anti-bullying week, the children watched Fantastic Fred.
