On Friday we had a brilliant time pretending to be dinosaurs, dragons and superheroes in our warm up. It was great fun to do our first Manby mile in the lovely sunshine.

Reception had a great time on Friday doing the Manby Mile. They enjoyed the dance warm up and completing the run itself. They did a fantastic job and all got stuck in. We all agreed that we could feel and see a positive difference in our concentration and focus levels after doing some exercise 💪 🏃♀️
The children were delighted to have a very special visit from the fire service today. Everybody had a turn using the hose and sitting in the truck. The children also had the opportunity to ask questions and learn all about their important job. This term the children have really enjoyed our ‘people who help us’ topic and learnt lots about different jobs. At the start of the term we found out what the children knew and made a note on yellow post stick notes, we then added what they have learnt using purple post stick notes and it is fantastic to see all their new learning
Children have shared their love this Valentine’s Day! Thank you to all who contributed, and to FoML for the beautiful Manby Love Display in the corridor. Children really enjoying seeing their heart on display as the go in and out of the playground at break and at lunchtime.
